Grand Opening of Mud Pies & Sassafras Tea Antique Market is this Friday!

The countdown begins.  Friday morning, June 28th at 9:00 a.m. we will be ready for our Grand Opening in Prairie City, Iowa. We hope to see you all there.  We will be open on Friday, Saturday & Sunday.  Come check out Mud Pies & Sassafras Tea Antique Market and have some fun at Prairie Days.  I know for certain there will be bingo, a parade and a church food stand with homemade pie!  Check out the dates and times below.

The peonies were in full bloom last weekend and now they are starting to fade.  Such a beautiful start to summer....

Please tell us what kinds of items you would like to see in our shop.  Are you looking for architectural items, rusty metal display pieces, old toys, painted & refinished pieces, "junky" pieces you can restore yourself, or original nice pieces?  When we go out searching, we would love to be looking for items you cannot live without.  Please comment and let us know.  Here are a few of my favorite things and they are items I am instantly drawn to whenever I find them in a shop.  Do you have one or two pieces that you are instantly drawn to and can't seem to collect enough?  Please tell us about them.  We love to hear from you ~~ Linda
